How Catch works

What's happening, and who's going.

Catch is where your circles post plans: rooftop sessions, run clubs, invite-only dinners. You see what's on and who's in, then decide. Here's the walkthrough: going out first, hosting at the bottom.

Going out

From scroll to showing up.

1

Find it

Three feeds, one app. Explore is public events near you. Following is plans from people you follow. Close Friends is the tighter circle: events from people who put you on their list.

2

See who's in

Every event shows its people: the going count, the face stack, which of your friends already RSVPed. That one detail turns a maybe into a yes.

3

RSVP your way

Going loud or going quiet is your call, per event: everyone, your followers, your close friends, or only you. The dials below show exactly how it works.

4

Show up

Paid events show one all-in price up front, no surprise fees at checkout. Once you're confirmed, the exact address unlocks. If a host cancels, your refund is automatic and full.

The privacy part

One event, two dials.

The host sets the ceiling: how far the event itself can travel. Each guest sets their own RSVP: who gets to see they are going. When a guest RSVPs, their friends might see “Sarah is going”, but only as far as the ceiling allows. And your RSVP never has to match the ceiling. Try both dials:

Try it: tap the options below and watch the rings react.

Step 1 · The host picks: who can discover the event

Anyone on Catch can find this event. When a guest RSVPs, anyone can see they are going. Full reach, full turnout.

Step 2 · You RSVP: who sees you're going

Grayed out means over the event's ceiling.

The event: can reach anyone on Catch

Your RSVP: seen by anyone on Catch

The event's reachYour RSVP

You are not hiding your event. You are choosing how far it travels.

Guests never have to match the ceiling: going quieter is always allowed, down to Only me. And whatever the setting, the host can always invite anyone directly.

Address privacy

The address stays behind the door.

Exact addresses go to confirmed guests only. Everyone else sees the neighborhood, nothing closer, until you confirm them. And Catch shows events, never anyone's location.

Receipts

Built to get you out.

Catch makes money when your event does: a small fee on paid tickets, shown up front. Find Friends matches contacts with one-way hashes, so raw phone numbers never leave your phone. And it's founder-led, a one-person operation for now: questions go straight to tomas.gomez@getcatch.app.

Hosting

Run the room.

Everything above, from the host's side, plus the money layer.

Set the ceiling

Public banger or invite-only dinner: you pick who can discover the event and how far guest RSVPs travel. And you can always invite anyone directly.

Sell tickets, price honest

A flat 3% Catch fee plus card processing, folded into one all-in price buyers see up front. Your payout is your full ticket price. Free events cost nothing.

Get paid through Stripe

Connect your bank once from the dashboard and ticket money flows on Stripe's standard schedule. Promo and comp codes are on every plan, no upgrade needed.

One link for the bio

Every organizer gets a public page at getcatch.app/u/yourname: your photo, your upcoming events, a follow button. Made for the Instagram bio.

Catch you there.
