Terms of Service

Welcome to Catch! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Catch mobile application ("App") operated by Catch App LLC ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Catch.
• If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for your account. Keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. No bots, fake accounts, or impersonation.
• Real identity encouraged. Catch works best when people use their real names.

3. User Content

What you can post:

• Events, comments, chat messages, photos, and profile information ("User Content").
• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• By posting, you grant Catch a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and store your User Content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.

What you cannot post:

• Illegal content — anything that violates local, state, or federal law.
• Harassment or threats — targeted abuse, bullying, doxxing, or intimidation.
• Hate speech — content that attacks people based on protected characteristics.
• Sexually explicit content — nudity or sexual content in event photos or profiles.
• Spam — unsolicited promotion, scams, or repetitive content.
• Dangerous activities — content promoting self-harm, drug abuse, or violence.
• Others' private information — phone numbers, addresses, or personal details without consent.

Enforcement:

We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

4. Event Responsibility

• Event hosts are responsible for their events. Catch is a platform — we don't organize, sponsor, or endorse any events.
• Attend at your own risk. We are not liable for anything that happens at events posted on Catch.

5. Privacy

Your privacy matters. Please read our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6. Push Notifications & Communications

• We may send push notifications about events, friend activity, and service updates.
• You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.
• We may send SMS reminders for events you're attending (if you opt in).

7. Intellectual Property

• The Catch name, logo, and App design are our intellectual property.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our App or its content without permission.
• If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us at legal@getcatch.app.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catch App LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Catch App LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting privacy@getcatch.app.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via push notification or in-app notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
